Hi Neighbours,
It's been puppies filling up the Waikato SPCA lately but the kittens are on the way.
Remember to get your pets de-sexed if they are not already and contact the SPAC if you can help as a foster carer for the impending cat boom.

What are your thoughts? Are you saddened by the closure of yet another video store or has modern technology made this inevitable?

Are you going out of your way to collect plastic bags before they become illegal in NZ? Some Kiwis have admitted they are stockpiling bags before they can no longer get them from supermarkets and petrol stations.
It's been noticed that some customers have been taking plastic bags for things like single chocolate bars and drinks "to save up".
Do you find plastic bags handy for bin liners? What eco-friendly tips and alternatives to plastic can you share with your neighbours? Leave a reply to share your thoughts.

While I know these have been responsible for causing problems with the footpath I can't help but be a bit sad at their loss. In Spring the flowers were beautiful, in Summer they provided shade & a sense of coolness, in Autumn they were beautiful ( & yes I know the leaves were probably annoying to residents!), & in Winter they held the promise of things to come..........And they were beloved by birds & bees alike. The street now just looks bare & lacks character. Let's hope this isn't a sign of what is in store for the rest of the suburbs.

She knows that all of our Drivers are professionals and that all vehicles have in-car camera, GPS tracking , late model vehicles (as in the photo) - not just another taxi ride but an experience:)
