Ultra Fast Broadband is getting closer.... find out how you can get involved
Earlier today, Prime Minister Bill English annouced plans to roll out faster internet to more than 150 additional towns all across the country as part of the second phase of the Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) programme.
This means around 423,000 additional New Zealanders in both rural and urban areas, from Kaitaia to Bluff, will have access to world-class broadband
Waikato District Council welcomes the government announcement that it will be rolling out a second wave of ultrafast broadband (UFB) to eight of its growing towns.
At this stage, Te Kowhai is not one of those towns.

The Te Kowhai Community Group along with the Te Kowhai Broadband Upgrade Team will be getting together soon to discuss plans to get Te Kowhai included in this roll out.
