What does ANZAC day mean to you?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

ANZAC Day is a time to reflect, remember, and honour those who served.

It’s also a powerful reminder of the impact of war and the courage of those who stood for something greater than themselves.

We're interested to hear what ANZAC Day means to you and your whānau, and about any special traditions you follow each year.

Perhaps you have a loved one who served? If you feel comfortable, we’d love for you to share their story here with us.

Poll: Is it illegal to have fog lights on when there's no fog?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The answer is yes, it is illegal. And yet in New Zealand it's fairly common to see drivers hitting the road with their fog lights on when it's simply dark.

Those who have sat their written drivers test recently will be in the know, but be honest, did you know it was illegal?

Poll: Do you want the 60kph speed limit to stay?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

City council staff want a 60kph speed limit to remain on a surface-flooding prone section of Cobham Dr despite a majority of the public wanting it to go back to 80kph.

The staff recommendation to an upcoming traffic, speed limit and road closure hearings panel covers the section of Cobham Dr between Tristram St and Normandy Ave.

Do you want the 60kph speed limit to stay? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).

Junior Track Cycling Fundraiser - Trade Me Listing

Helena from Cambridge

Local Cambridge track cyclist Alex Schuler has been selected to represent NZ at the Junior World Track Cycling Championships this August in the Netherlands. It is a self-funded trip.

The amazing guys at Absolute Access in Rotorua have come on board, they put Alex to work last week, and this fantastic Trade Me listing is now currently live with all profits going to Alex's Junior Worlds Campaign.

If you are not looking for a scissor lift but could please share the link to the wider community, we would really appreciate it!
