On exiting The Base to face south towards the city I noticed the signpost directs Taupo traffic to turn right to go along the Avalon Drive bypass then through Frankton, past the hospital etc whereas Google maps advises them to turn left and simply follow Wairere Drive to the end. We have enough of … View moreOn exiting The Base to face south towards the city I noticed the signpost directs Taupo traffic to turn right to go along the Avalon Drive bypass then through Frankton, past the hospital etc whereas Google maps advises them to turn left and simply follow Wairere Drive to the end. We have enough of our own traffic without unnecessarily adding through traffic to it. Roll on the Expressway.
