What does ANZAC day mean to you?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

ANZAC Day is a time to reflect, remember, and honour those who served.

It’s also a powerful reminder of the impact of war and the courage of those who stood for something greater than themselves.

We're interested to hear what ANZAC Day means to you and your whānau, and about any special traditions you follow each year.

Perhaps you have a loved one who served? If you feel comfortable, we’d love for you to share their story here with us.

What do you think of the pedestrian crossing plans?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

City leaders have backed two new signalised pedestrian crossings near the busy shopping “Mecca” of Hamilton East and outside Southwell School in Claudelands.

But one councillor raised queries over projected costs of more than $1.5 million saying the price of crossings was “comparable to a new house”.

What do you think of the pedestrian crossing plans? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).

Poll: Is it illegal to have fog lights on when there's no fog?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The answer is yes, it is illegal. And yet in New Zealand it's fairly common to see drivers hitting the road with their fog lights on when it's simply dark.

Those who have sat their written drivers test recently will be in the know, but be honest, did you know it was illegal?
