Western-style raku usually involves removing pottery from the kiln while at bright red heat and placing it into containers with combustible materials. Once the materials ignite, the containers are closed. This produces an intense reduction atmosphere which affects the colors in glazes and clay bodies. The drastic thermal shock also produces cracking also known as crackling effect.

I am new to neighbourly but have lived in Huntington for a while now with my parents and siblings.
Im not sure if anyone has already offered or posted about this but I was wondering if anyone on here or anyone you know around the area (especially elderly or vulnerable people) would like some help with shopping or errands during this stressful time.
I do currently work a full time job but myself and a few friends are more than happy to do anyone's shopping or errands after work if they would like to stay away from public places or feel overwhelmed by it all.
Hopefully myself and my friends can help make a small difference to our community in these times of panic and stress.
Kind Regards,
Cam
