Ratepayers have spent more than $58,000 on a drawn-out legal battle over a Te Aroha pensioner living in a commercial building.
The Environment Court on Tuesday ordered Dave Stewart to vacate his Whitaker Street home within 90 days, siding with Matamata-Piako District Council after years of wrangling.
