Poll: What's your take on Hamilton's CBD parking rules?

Libby Reporter from Waikato Local

Central city retailers back a call to return to two free hours of street parking in Hamilton’s CBD, saying it’ll be easier for customers to visit and boost foot traffic.

Mayoral race contender Tim Macindoe this week made a fresh push to revert to the system, saying there had been complaints the current one-hour regime and heavier fines are scaring people away from the CBD.

From rugged campsite to 7.5ha resort

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Grant Kilby has always loved camping. His mum was director of health at the YMCA, and he would attend YMCA camps in the school holidays. “I think it was mandatory that I was there,” he jokes.

He went on camping holidays with his parents, and later, took his own kids.
“Camping’s been in my blood.”
