Principal of struggling college resigns
The principal of embattled Hamilton school Mangakōtukutuku College has resigned after being on leave since the end of term one this year.
In a brief Facebook post on Wednesday, the presiding member of the school’s board, Jacqueline Woodland, said she had accepted Dr Thilo Govender’s resignation. “Please join me in wishing her well for the future”.
