Staff at Hamilton’s award-winning Palate restaurant were left stunned after a robber walked in during daylight and made no attempt to hide his identity.

Police are investigating the brazen incident, which unfolded just after 4pm on Thursday when a man entered the Victoria St fine-dining spot, ripped open the till and fled with a few hundred dollars in cash.

Hospital ED new location of interest in measles spread

Two separate days in the last week were listed on Health NZ’s website on Friday morning as a place where someone with measles was known to have visited.
