Meet: Malcolm Street Entrance to Hammond Park Boardwalk
Wear: Long sleeves, gardening gloves, gumboots or similar
Bring: A spade or trowel and a raincoat if it looks like rain!
What: Planting 400 plants (kids plant in flat area and unaccompanied adults plant in swampy bit)
Afternoon tea in the park afterwards.
It's also an opportunity to meet Conservation Co-ordinator Paula Smith and find out if she can help you plant natives & remove pests & weeds on your Hammond gully section.
