As the setting sun illuminated a near-capacity crown in Wintec’s atrium, four politicians competed to paint the sunniest picture of Hamilton’s future.
And whether the who’s who of Hamilton’s business and civic leaders gathered in the room were fully illuminated as to which of the four - Sarah Thomson, Tim Macindoe, Rachel Karalus and Maria Huata - would be the city’s leader remains to be seen.
