Jo Mannering had been for her share of regular check-ups before a 5cm tumour was discovered in her breast.
She was stunned. She wondered if she would die. “My most important things were, will my children be okay?"
Now nearly three years clear of cancer, Mannering is one of the 1000 participants and spectators who gathered for Thursday’s Breast Cancer Research Trust Pink Walk & Run at Hamilton Lake Domain.

Walking path & not one facility I could find to give a dog a drink of water.
Council. I would like to suggest that a dog drinking post or two be erected, with a metal bowl below and a self stopping tap to top it up, to give fresh water to thirsty dogs who accompany their owners on this pathway. Perhaps a water fountain at the top for the owner as well. Thank you.
