Christmas decorations and ornaments
My 16 year old daughter set up a business with her own funds to purchase beautiful imported Christmas ornaments and sell them. Her business is called Kitchen and Christmas. She now has some stock left that she has reduced in price, as she is anxious to sell it over the next couple of weeks. She has a facebook page Kitchen and Christmas and a TradeMe channel KitchenandXmas. Some of these make lovely stocking fillers, or complete gifts. All Department store quality. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
