Are you a Procrastinator? or Do you lack motivation?
Hello and always a warm hearted welcome to you,
www.lyf4u.co.nz...
Thank you for being here, receiving Maree's Monday Motivational which I send out each week,( no catch :)
How do you know if you lack motivation?
This is a big one!
When you’re embarking on a big project at home or at work, do you ever put it off?
Do you feel like this is a cycle for you?
MAREES MOTIVATIONAL WORD is Procrastination.
Procrastination may result from feelings or Trapped Emotions and behaviours/beliefs that simply sabotage you, and your success, as shared last Monday. Facebook; www.facebook.com...
When you don’t release those feelings, or you or let them drive you, you may set yourself up for failure by procrastinating — and then having to rush to meet deadlines. The irony is that very few of us do our best work when we procrastinate.
MAREES WEEKLY QUOTE;
Motivation like bathing, we need to do it daily.(Zig Ziglar)
We all need a nudge in life now and then and some more than others. And it’s no wonder with the outgoings, takings and givings in your everyday life that you can be left feeling as though you are drained, of all desire to continue.
HOW TO IDENTIFY WHO OR WHAT ARE YOU MOTIVATIONAL LEAKS?
Accounts waiting to be paid.
A cluttered or unclean home
Toxic environments
Being unhealthy or addicted to harmful behaviours and habits.
Unfinished projects
Complaining
Unresolved “fallouts”
HOW DO WE MANAGE MOTIVATION?
I'm unpacking just a few suggestions (the tip of the iceberg) on how we can increase our successes.
If you consider any reputable company/business there will always be a catch phrase. This 1 liner represents the who and what they are. Examples are as follows.
Nike- “just do it”
L’Oreal- “because you are worth it”
The Warehouse- “where everyone gets a bargain”
What if you compiled a 1 line mantra for you that reminds your brain to control an action of what plans and directions you seek to make happen in life/love/career/health/family/personal development. Then this becomes your Personal Mission/Vision statement. You are after all your own personal business.
Who are you, and what is it you want to be known as.? Make this mantra statement of intention as much as possible throughout your day.
WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATIONAL SONG? 🎼
Choose a piece of music that when heard you instantly are lifted/energized/in love. The audio stimulates and reminds you of your worth/life/love/vitality and connection.
WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATIONAL PICTURE? 💚
Once chosen use it as a screensaver, wallpaper online, vision board or picture board. A photo/picture that restores your emotions and allows you to visualize where and what you want.
WHAT IS YOUR MOTIVATIONAL COLOUR? 🌿
Choosing your specific ignition colour is very personable to you only. Many say red is a sign of increased energy. It's certainly worked for many sex symbols and super heroes :) Once you have your preferred colour you can wear it, match it to your symbol, look for it in everyday life –igniting the key trigger of spurring you on.
As you can see by my logo I enjoy the colour green with the symbol of trees...which represent first the roots of "knowing who you are" Then the how with "new life/branching out with growth", which creates harmony and balance.
PERSISTENCE PREVAILS IN MOTIVATION
Even when you get impatient because you cannot yet see the results continue onwards.
No matter what happens in the outside world. Don’t stop growing on the inside.
Any motivated entrepreneur will tell you that in order to succeed you must persist persist persist.
Be clear and know what success is for you?
Walking with you all the way.
If you need help just ask :) x
