Free Food Bank
Hi all,
I visited the St Vinnies food bank outside 77 Bader St this morning.
Great concept -- a little stall on the side of the road where people can get free fruit/veg, and drop off any surplus fruit/veg they've grown.
The bank suffers a bit from under-use. Needs word to spread more. Some of the food in there looks like it's been there longer than it should and is no longer fresh.
Does anyone know who's running this? Is it St Vinnies?

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
