Severe weather warning: Heavy rain for Fiordland and Westland
An active front moves eastwards across the South Island today and overnight tonight, bringing a burst of heavy rain to western and northern areas. The heaviest falls are expected in Fiordland and the ranges of Westland, where 90 to 120mm of rain is expected today.
People are advised to keep up to date with the latest forecast in case other areas are added to the Warning. Keep updated here
