Social tennis for oldies
Gore Tennis club has social tennis for oldies every Thursday 3pm-4.30 at Preston street courts. We play doubles, not competitive. Swap partners often- you get to play with everyone. If you get tired , have a spell. If raining we play at event center if available at cost of approximately $5.
Fees- $2 per day or $50 season ticket. we play summer and winter ( one net left up for us)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
