We're headed in Anzac Day commemorations, and we've got that covered with Mike and Anabel McPhee's beautifully written ode to the Catlins-Clutha World War I soldiers who got caught up in the little known battlie of Meteren in Northern France, some of whom were captured and imprisoned at Lille.

Invercargill looks to be in for a rough couple of days, with northwesterlies, getting to gale strength at times on Thursday, and gale westerlies on Friday. It's also expected to be wet at times.

Ray Tressler and his vintage car, an Austin 7 Chummy, are both 89 years old.
Once a week, Tressler takes his pride and joy for a drive around the streets of Invercargill and occasionally on rallies in the province.
