Book Launch for tamariki and whānau!

Hear illustrator Angelique read the book. and meet the author Tara.
Tamariki are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite native bird!
Nibbles for kids and adults will be provided by Kākā Café.

Please RSVP for catering purposes to events@pukaha.org.nz by Friday 11th December.

Proceeds from book sales contribute to conservation projects at Pūkaha.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
