The NZ Cycle Classic starts today - each day we'll post THE BEST PLACE TO SEE the racing action. Today's racing is Masterton - Alfredton - Masterton - Finishing at the top of Manuka Street, Masterton, near the Masterton Golf Club.This will be a hill climb sprint to the finish after 120 km of hard first day riding.Grab a picnic and get roadside by 12.30pm. Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
