Volunteer Needed - 2 hours a month
Looking for a volunteer who would like to attend an intergenerational playgroup at a rest home in Carterton and be the "meet and greeter" for all parents attending with their kids. Ideally once a fortnight but could be once a month if that suits you better.
The playgroups have been set up to alleviate loneliness. The benefits for elderly being around children is incredible and amazing to watch.
This could suit someone who is retired, a parent or someone with a passion for helping people. Let me know if you would like more information
