"I mean, I ate heavy cream I think 10 weeks past date," says Nash, "and then meat sometimes a good month past its date. It didn't smell bad. Rinse it off, good to go."
It was all part of his year-long experiment to test the limits on food that had passed its expiration date.

In 2017 Martinborough Health Centre developed the Martinborough Healthy Community Project to enhance the health of the local community.
Feedback from that community has been very positive, with both physical and social benefits for a growing number of participants.
This project has five complementary components, each run by volunteers:
· a weekly walking group to encourage physical activity and companionship
· a community larder for sharing excess fruit and vegetables
· a community garden on donated land
· a six-week Healthy Lifestyle Programme for people with long term conditions
· a regular Health Bulletin which provides medical and lifestyle information that’s easily understood.PHOTO: From left, Sue Mcleary, Pam Shackleton (Martinborough Medical Centre), Les Roberts, Debbie Yates, Kiwa Mitchell at Parliament’s Great Hall.

The schools staff, students and families have put a lot of time and effort into fundraising to provide these Chromebooks. They are an important part of the students everyday learning, it is extremely unfair that someone felt they had the right to help themselves leaving the students without a vital educational tool. Please keep eyes and ears open as they may well try to offload them in our local community.
