Community Board member Claire Bleakley has accused the South Wairarapa District Council of under investment in her town’s infrastructure which will have lasting damage on an important local wetland.

This dainty climber will flower all Summer. It is a wee bit frost tender but will come away again.
Little heart shaped leaves and blue thumb sized deep purple/blue flowers, it looks amazing growing up a trellis, or fence. It does well in pots too.

This young plant is growing in a 10 cm pot and is 16cms tall. It is this years seedling.
It flowers better with a reasonable amount of sun.

I've pictured blackcurrant fruit from my mature bushes, but the one on sale is in the red pot.

This peony is in flower at the moment. The flower is large and this particular one is white like a pompom.
Peonies love the sun, are drought tolerant, die down in the winter, and need a metre square space to spread in. They are amazing cut flowers and come into bloom at this time of the year.

Reason for selling is that it is a pull start and I need a push button start mower. It was my husbands mower. Was perfect for him to use but I need something lighter. I haven't got room to store it. It's been undercover in the garage.
It hasn't been started for a few months .

This is a beautiful older peony, having been potted up from a well established garden, so you may not see it in Garden Centres.
Peonies are wonderful cut flowers, they like the sun, are very drought tolerant after a year or two and put on a spectacular show this time of the year.
They need a square metre garden space to show all their glory.
