One trayfull of blue Muscari bulbs. THere is 18 plus big ones and myriads of little ones. These bulbs can be planted now for an early spring show of blue.
Grass like leaves and blue flowers that look like clusters of upright grapes, blue purple in colour.
Make a colourful show in the Spring and multiply.

Do very well in pots, along garden borders, in clumps.
Six or more in a vase with some of their leaves look lovely inside the house after the long grey winter.
They die down below ground in the Summer.
Climatised to Wairarapa conditions.

Meet the proud tapa cloth maker, Kaufo’ou Taulata.
She is part of a Hutt Valley-based group of women who are reviving the process of making tapa cloth, their work is this week on display at Te Papa.
Taulata is part of a group of women who call themselves Akomai Heritage. They gather together to learn from each other and cultivate Tongan culture by making koloa (cultural treasures).
The exhibition runs to Sunday, February 14, Level 4 Toi Art. Akomai Heritage will host a public demonstrations on Saturday, February 13, 11am.

Has only been used a couple of times briefly.

The Scheme supports and encourages local communities to create and present diverse opportunities for accessing and participating in arts activities.

There is approximately $25,000 available for distribution and applications close Friday 26 February 2021.
We are also seeking community representatives to sit on the assessment group that allocates funding.
