Bus Routes
Hi all, recently there were changes in the Wakari, Helensburgh, Halfway Bush timetables and bus routes. In particular the Wakari bus 50 the now goes up Lyn Street. This change is affecting the residents and safety of the children attending wakari kindergarten. A group of resident headed by Andrea Irvine is trying to get this changed in consultation with ORC. They have asked me to raise the question, if the route is changed, where should it go? Most of us have said back to the way it was. Please add your comment on Dunedin Bus. Changes page on Facebook. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
