Company behind Foulden Maar bid collapses, putting application to mine on hold
An overseas mining company wanting to buy a geological rich area of Otago has collapsed.
The Overseas Investment Office confirmed it was aware of the receivership and the liquidation of Plaman, which had applied to buy 432 hectares of land near Middlemarch, an hour from Dunedin, to expand its diatomite mine.
