The batches of Mac's Non-Alcoholic Ginger Beer carrying the false labels have a best before date of March 20 or 21, 2019.
"This recall does not affect any other batches of this or any other Mac's brand product," a recall notice said
Lion apologised, and offered a full refund to customers if they had the incorrect product. Customers with the product should contact Lion on 0800 835 554.

Car Free Day is an international day, supported by over 1,000 cities. The day highlights alternatives to car travel and the social and environmental benefits of walking, cycling, or taking the bus.
Queenstown Lakes District Mayor Jim Boult suggested this is the perfect opportunity for locals to see what commuting to the CBD could be like by giving up the car for a day. “We’ve all been heavily reliant on cars in Queenstown, but times are changing. We’re already seeing increasing bus passenger numbers who are rating the service highly. As the town continues to grow, where it’s possible and practical we need to think differently about how we get around. So why not try bringing the kids into town on the bus for free on the 22 September and see if it could work for you too,” said Mayor Boult.

Motorists are warned to drive with care and to take chains on the Crown Range, between Queenstown and Wanaka. Queenstown Airport remained open, although flights before 10am were cancelled.
The front had moved over the lower South Island overnight on Sunday, bringing with it heavy rain and snow and it's expected to move slowly northeastwards during Monday. A snow warning is in place for the regions until 3pm Monday.
