Akaroa's landmark Grand Hotel with significant land for development is for sale
One of Akaroa's well-known businessmen and a former councillor, Eric Ryder, has placed his local landmark hotel, The Grand, with prime development land on the market.
Ryder, 74, has owned and run Akaroa's well-known public house for 30 years. It is in a top spot on the main street into the tourist mecca on Banks Peninsula.
The property for sale includes the hotel and two cottages standing on 3756 square metres of land.
