On October 10, 2022, at Ashburton, aged 87 years. Very dearly loved husband
of Marguerite Winifred Rule (Sue), married for 65 wonderful years. He taught me photography, motor cycling (with great patience), engineering, wildlife photography, and travelling all around the South Island. I will miss him so very very much. Passed away peacefully at Nurse Maude Hospice on Monday, October 10, 2022, aged 76 years. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Sue-Ann and Kirk Gervais, Dawn and Hugh Douglas-Withers, Marcus and Tammy Kean; Linda and Tony Green. Much loved Nana of Jonny, Caitlin, Anice, Olive, Daniel, Jamie, Mitchell and Jackson. Great Nanny Boop-Boop to Oliver, Lachlan, Eli and Carter. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Geoff and Janie Proctor. Many thanks to Judy’s dear friend Jan Spence, and the staff at Nurse Maude Hospice for all their loving care of Judy. Loved Mum of Johnny and Karen; Marcus; Barry and Becky; Trudy and Jamie. Loved Nana of ten and Great-Grandma of five. A farewell for Bene will be held at Cedarwood, 17 Parata Street, Waikanae, on Friday 14th October at 11.00am. You are then welcome to join the family for tea and cake. The final committal will then take place at the Waikanae Cemetery. For those who want to say their goodbyes before the service, Bene will be at the Funeral Home from 10.00am.
