On October 10, 2022, after a short illness, David passed away at Christchurch Hospital, aged 85 years. Much loved partner of Margaret, and a treasured father and father-in-law of John and Amanda, Ross and Paula, grandfather to Cole, and Nina; Holly, Isaac, and Oscar, and his great-grandchildren. Leone passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Southland Hospital. Beautiful and loving Mum and Nana-Le of Sarah and Gary, Jamie; Lucy, Levi, and loving friend of Barry Stuck. Daughter of Guy* and Eileen* Aspinall, sister to Lynley* Hunter, and Guyon* Aspinall. On October 9, 2022, suddenly at his home in the early hours of Sunday morning, with his family present. Of Carterton. On a beautiful spring day with the warm sun shining down, a great day for fishing; Leonie took her last breath after an enduring battle to survive. The daughter of Leo (dec) and Mavis Joan (dec) Sayer (formerly of Dalefield). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Simon and Caren, Andrew and Cindy. Proud Nana to Jaydan, Cameron, Clarissa and Craig. Also Nana to and cherished above all others by her Serenity and her Harry (Napier). Granny to Michael and Manaia. Sister to Michael (dec) and Helen (dec) Sayer, Paul and Ellen Sayer (Masterton), and Russell (dec) and Wendy (dec) Sayer. A very special lady to Vanessa and Luke (Napier), David and Janine (Pahiatua), Matthew and Holly (Pahiatua), and lovingly called Nana by all of their children by Heart.
Leonie will be deeply and dearly missed by all that
loved and cared for her.
