William passed away in his sleep at Dunedin Hospital on Sunday, November 27, 2022, aged 79 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Craig (Brisbane), Linley Twining (Sydney), Stephen (Brisbane), Suzanne and Brad Delley (Brisbane), and grandad to his five grandchildren in Sydney. William was the former husband of the late Nola Robertson (Queensland). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Gordon and Nancy (Queensland), Murray and Sallyann (Clyde), Jeffery and Christine (Nelson), and the late Ronald. Thank you to the staff at Southland Hospital, and the ICU, 7B & 7C wards at Dunedin Hospital, for the wonderful care provided to William in his last few weeks.
