Passed away peacefully on Saturday 19th November 2022, after an incredible battle. Loved and treasured husband of Jenny. Devoted Dad to Craig, Karen, Tracey, Jamie and Grant. Proud and adored Grandad of Kylah and Lexi. A great mate and brother-in-law to Denise and Bob, Garry and Heather, Wayne and Colleen, and Alan (dec). A special thank you to the staff at ABI Porirua for the outstanding care they gave Steve. Steve will be remembered, celebrated, missed and never forgotten by his family, extended family and friends. So dearly loved and treasured eldest daughter of the late Reg & Ivy Taylor (Stratford), sister and sister-in-law of Laurice & Noel Jordan (both deceased), Errol Taylor (deceased) & Noreen, Vic & Linda Taylor, Ngaire Taylor, and friend of Irene Taylor. Barbara was a very special aunt to all our extended families and memories will be forever treasured.

On November 18, 2022, passed away peacefully in Christchurch, aged 88 years. BURNEY, Maureen
In memory of our mother, Maureen Burney, born 2.3.1930 in Dunedin - passed away 19.11.2022 at Ngaio Marsh Hospital, Christchurch. She loved life. She cherished her friends. She gave her time to many with generosity and sincerity. She turned dark days into light with her determination and positive attitude to life’s ups and downs.
She loved us, her children. We loved her.
Her Celebration of Life party took place August 11, in her living presence, at Edgewater, Wanaka. In accordance with her wishes there will be no funeral service but her ashes will be scattered, an event, to which all will be welcome.

A loved and cherished sister and sister-in-law of Tony and Flo Birdling (both deceased), John and Betty Birdling (Rangoria), and David and Yvonne Birdling (Queensland, Australia). A respected and loved aunt and great-aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Anne was a much loved and valued friend to many in Akaroa. Anne’s family would like to thank Dr Suzanne Knapp and Rebecca Barnett from the Akaroa Health Centre, members of the Akaroa Volunteer Fire Brigade and the crew of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter for all the kindness and care they showed her.
