Passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022 at Christchurch Hospital, in his 90th year. Loving husband of Ngaire for 68 years. Respected father of Robert, Keith, Garry, Suzanne and Lynette, and Grandad to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Anne and those that have now passed, John, Tom, Mark, Runa, Elizabeth and Janet. Brother-in-law to Donald and Joy, Harry, Elaine, Shirley and the late Bruce. Ron was a much loved and respected father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather to Clark and Jackie, and Ellie; Kenneth, Jacob, Kelsey and Kieren, Lachie, Mason, and Abbey; Tony and Cheryl, Kate, and Christy. Loved son of Eric* and Molly*, brother and brother-in-law to Ian and Jill, Kenneth* and Margaret*, Louise and John* Henderson, and Jim* and Ina McNeill. Loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Dr Ewan Adam and the Murihiku Medical Services Staff, Windsor Pharmacy, Rebecca from Hospice Southland, Sally from Health Care, Southland Hospital, and Nigel and Christine Edwards.
