In her column this morning, Mayor Sheryl Mai writes about how to foster a "care-mongering" community from within our isolation bubbles.
"Neighbours are checking in on neighbours (via phone, email, online or over the fence), and phone trees are being set up to keep everyone safe. It’s a beautiful thing, and it’s a shared experience we will never forget. We are resourceful, kind, practical, caring and supportive."

Kia ora Northland, it's time to dust off that old camera, get out and about and show the rest of your neighbours your favourite, treasured spots in your region. It could be an awesome view, the shy wildlife or even the old buildings that are wanting their stories to be told.
Go ahead, get snapping and illustrate what's beyond your backyard.

Baa-Baa's like a member of our family, she's been missing since 5:30 pm Saturday 30th May . She answers to calling Baa-Baa. We are desperate to find her, if you see a sheep, any sheep anywhere please let me know immediately....it might be our dear lost Baa-Baa. It's just not like her to wander off on a Saturday night,
She is very individual looking for a sheep, and has her own unique personality. It's heart breaking to see the food in her "Baa Baa" bowl go uneaten already more than 12 hours now. I fear the "sheep - haters" have got her, or she's had a head injury and can't remember her way home, she's normally super intelligent and so affectionate, I swear she understands every thing I say to her.
