Neighbourly's Good News

Arthur from Rangiora

Last week I got out of my car to go to the Warehouse here in Rangiora and made a silly mistake. I forgot to take my keys with me and locked my car. I went to Super Cheap for some help but they could not help me, I then went to the Warehouse to see if they could help, BINGO, but they did not have a wire coat hanger to help unlock my car but suggested a coil of wire, okay that may work, no it did not as it was too soft, They allowed me to use the phone to call my wife to bring down a second key but the call would not go through. Then the young lady spoke to another staff member and she asked where I live and then offered to take me home for the key and bring me back. I was very surprised at this offer but very happy to accept it, WOW, talk about customer service. The young lady who helped to get the key was on her lunch break. Unfortunately I had forgotten their names. To the 2 ladies THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, it was very much appreciated.

Poll: Would you want an unconventional funeral?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Funerals can cost as much as $22,000 and the planning can be stressful especially at a time when loved ones are grieving. Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.

Type 'Not For Print' if you wish your comments to be excluded from the Conversations column of your local paper.
