Binocular man, also known as “Graham” has been found!
The steel pipe sculpture made by Bruce Harper was recently taken from the Thames Coastal Walkway. Harper said he was rung up on Friday afternoon by a man walking his dog next to the Thames Monument to say “Graham” was scanning the town.
The sculpture is now in Harper's shed awaiting a paint job before being reinstated on his concrete block.
"It would appear who ever took him had a sense of humour," he said.

Vandalism is costing ratepayers - what can be done to better protect our public spaces?
Vandals have repeatedly damaged public amenities across the Waikato District, leaving ratepayers to pick up the bill. So far in 2025, the cost has climbed to nearly $123,000, reports the Waikato Times.
The council is urging residents to report vandalism as soon as possible.
