Poll: Do you plan to recycle your batteries?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Battery bins are popping up across Nelson Tasman — and they’re already making a difference. In just a few months, three new bins have kept 1500kg of batteries out of Nelson’s landfill.

A fun fact? These clever bins were designed right here in Nelson after no suitable option could be found anywhere else in the country (or overseas!).

So we’re wondering… Will you be adding these battery bins to your to-do list?

Keen to learn more? Max Frethey has the full story.
