The fight in Tasman district to control pest plants such as old man's beard and banana passion vine has been given a boost with free bottles of weedkiller gel available in the Richmond area.
Project De-Vine Trust project director Chris Rowse said the number of pest vines in the area would keep increasing unless they were tackled by keen weedbusters.
