Poll: Tasman's favourite dog breed

Reporter The Nelson Mail

Dog registration statistics for 2017 have shown that collies are the popular dog breed in Tasman District, making up just under 10 per cent of all registered dogs in the district (out of a total of 10775).

We're looking for collie owners to talk to about why they chose to get a collie, and what makes their dogs special.

The next most popular breeds in Tasman were (in order): labrador retrievers, huntaways, jack russells, and staffordshire terriers.

Let us know which dog you think should be Tasman's favourite for 2018.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
