Dinner meeting January 27th

Kia ora Ladies of Franklin. BPW Franklin Inc. will be holding its first meeting of the year on January 27th. It will be an opportunity to meet up with friendly women who believe in equality and in helping each other to stand tall, it will also be an evening when we will be planning the activities for the rest of the year. This is an informal dinner at the Cosmopolitan Club, Nelson St, Pukekohe. 6.30 for 7pm the cost is $30 and it is essential to register with our dinner convenor (text Marilyn 027 479 9121) and pre pay to bank account 02 0404 0100956 00 by 8pm on Sunday 24th Do come and join us. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
