With most Kiwi home buyers now getting properties meth tested and walking away from the deal if the result comes up positive, it begs the question whether it's possible to pick up a bargain if you're prepared to don rubber gloves and invest some elbow grease.

The only time I’ve really been worried is for the people that we’re towing back from quiet a way out in pretty big seas. When you see a whole yacht disappearing under a wave that you’ve gone over, you feel for them."
