BOIL WATER NOTICE - LAKE COLERIDGE

Matthew Salmons Reporter from Selwyn & Ashburton Outlook

A Precautionary Boil Water Notice is in place for properties connected to the Lake Coleridge water supply. Households on this supply are advised to boil water for drinking or personal use.
A mains power outage has disrupted the UV treatment system on this supply. No E.coli has been detected in the water supply, however the Selwyn District Council cannot guarantee that the water is safe to drink and has issued a Precautionary Boil Water Notice.
Residents are advised to boil water until they receive notification that the notice has been lifted. It is likely to be in place for several days. If you or your family show any symptoms of sickness please visit your doctor as soon as you are able to.

Response to regifting presents

Gordon from Halswell

My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
