Shots fired as Canterbury's Springston Hotel hit by armed robber
Shots were fired during an armed robbery at the Springston Hotel last night.
It is the sixth aggravated robbery targeting bars with a lone gunman in Canterbury this year. It comes after Robbie's Bar and Bistro in Ashburton has been hit by burglars for the seventh time in a year.
