Do you have an elderly person in your family/area who is living alone?
My name is Jane Blake. I am a mature, caring woman, and experienced, qualified carer, and I work as a daily relief teacher during the school term. I would like to live-in to provide a nightly service to support this loved one and enable them to remain in their own home rather than going into permanent care.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
