Papanui High School Dressmaking Course
Papanui High School still has vacancies in our Tuesday Dressmaking class starting on 21 February 7-9 pm for 8 weeks at a cost of $145. If you would like to come and join our friendly and popular sewing class you will be able to sew away from the distractions of home. From the very basics of reading a pattern and using a sewing machine to finishing your garment to a level you and your children are happy to wear. All levels of ability are catered for on an individual level move at your own pace. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
