Training the last few months hard out we achieved Winning the 200m Heats and Final, then we Won the 500m Heats and Final and Won the 2km. Taking all three trophies home again in The South Island Dragon Boating Championships 2017. The New Zealand Championships is in two weeks - if anyone is keen to sponsor us or would like any further information please contact me :-)

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
