Our thoughts go out to the friends and relatives who lost loved ones.
We thank our Civil Defence, our volunteers, emergency services, our staff and all our residents for their actions yesterday and the work that will go into repairing the region in the following weeks and months.

Residents are advised if their bins are not collected today to please leave bins out until collected and they will be collected as soon as possible this week as we understand not all residents could place their bins out this morning.

Lost in the Motunau area near or around the boat ramp mobile phone which has drivers license attached in a pouch on the back. Reward for the return of these . Has very sentimental photos on the phone that can not be replaced.
