Fundraiser for youth affected by sexual harm

Vicki Parker from NZ Gifts of Love and Strength

Please support our latest fundraiser so we can help more youth in Canterbury affected by sexual harm attending both The Cambridge Clinic or START.

Did you know from the statistics NZ Police released at Easter 2024 Canterbury has the highest rates for this in NZ in high schools and tertiary institutions. Youth can get free, confidential help 24/7 by calling The Cambridge Clinic on 03-3660 067.

We provide healing tote and toiletry bags to the youth that attend there. 80% of the items are beautifully handmade by volunteers. All items in the bags have been selected by the medical professionals to ensure they aid healing. We also have zero paid staff.

As funding has got harder and donations less from the general public due to the cost of living crisis we really need your support please.

2025 has been massive. The Luxon-led Government's attacks on workers, on Te Tiriti, on pay equity, on educators, on health workers, and on the public service, have been relentless.

Leslie from Avonside - Dallington

But despite everything thrown at working people, we've also seen some massive wins. We've fought back together with strike action. We've unified with days of action. We have focused on what matters. Make no mistake, 2026 will be wild, and we are ready for it! Source - New Zealand Council of Trade Unions
