Workshop or similar wanted by a community group

Pete from North New Brighton

The Christchurch Slot Car Club which is a member of a national body, is wanting to rent on a long term basis a workshop or similar measuring about 16m by 8m (give or take).
The club has been in operation for over 20yrs. The building the club has used for the last 20yrs is to be demolished. This means if suitable premises aren't found the club risks being dissolved. Unfortunately, the club is not in a position to afford commerial rents.
The club has provided entertainment for youth groups as well as other community groups - and is open to new members.
The club is willing to do repairs and alterations if neccessary.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
